That’s overkill for a household setting, IMHO. If the Ascent Series offers 17, the Vitamix commercial blender has 34 automatic programs. When it comes to blending presets, I think it has all the possible programs for any recipe. That’s far from the average 90+ dB from standard countertop blenders. It’s the sound you’d expect with a normal conversation. With its sound reduction technology, it was able to level the noise down to 65 decibels. Starbucks didn’t pick this machine for no reason. However, it requires a significant amount of investment as it’s a proper commercial blender. Without any doubt, Vitamix The Quiet One is the most silent blender from Vitamix.

If you want it even cheaper model, there’s the 100 th edition blender- Vitamix ONE. If it is a big deal for you, you should look into getting an Ascent model. The biggest issue for Explorian is its loudness. However, if you think you’ll need a large capacity jar, you should get the Explorian E320. If you’re only making a few batches at a time, this won’t be a problem. It won’t work with the low profile 64oz container. All you have to do is upgrade your machine with any of the Ascent compatible accessories. You can extend its capabilities to a number of food processing functions, such as grinding whole grains and emulsifying olive oil and vinegar for a fine dish. More importantly, (as an added safety feature) it will not allow you to make hot soups in a non-vented container like the blending cup and the blending bowl. It’s also equipped with a Self-Detect technology that will automatically adjust the duration and RPM depending on the container’s size.

If you’ll install Vitamix’s Perfect Blend app, you’re going to unlock 12 more automatic functions. You can either set a blending time or press any of the five preprogrammed buttons-smoothie, hot soups, nut butter, frozen desserts, and self-cleaning-leave it, and you can work on other stuff. If you’re always multitasking, it will save you a ton of effort. It’s the most expensive in the brand’s product lineup, but it has all the features the brand is moving forward. Vitamix is a premium blender brand and it’s rather fitting to have their flagship model on top of this list, the Ascent A3500.
